Jaques Of London is a well established toy company. In fact they have been established since 1795 (impressive right)!
They pride themselves as a company on high quality toys and games, and their unique and very exquisite gift packaging.
Encouraging real time play, less screen time and most importantly more family time!
As a parent I search for toys which will stand the test of time, encourage creativity, imagination and role play.
Not only can toys be stimulating and educational, they can be encouraging and bring you together as a family.
We choose together the two items, these being
’Magnetic reward Chart’
and ‘Reversible Craft Kit’
I was very impressed Autumn choose The Magnetic Reward Chart as I am all for rewarding positive behaviour.
There is lots of research around rewarding positive behaviour, and even though this is something we already partake.
This colourful, interactive Reward Chart really helps set specific targets and rewards.
Not only can Reward Charts encourage positive behaviour, but this chart encourages rewarding behaviours your child already does.
For instance: saying please and thank you, being kind, sharing, getting dressed by themselves (or generally just putting some clothes on in our house 😂).
By praising behaviours continuously especially behaviours already portrayed by your child, not only ensures the continuation of positive behaviours, but also can help increase your child‘s self esteem.
Rewards do not have to be lavish, they are personal to your child.
Be it their favourite magazine at the end of the week, a trip to the sweet-store, or even a few pound coins.
Autumn has chosen money as her reward.
I was very surprised at this choice, however she has told me she is saving.
I’ve no idea what for, but I love that this Magnetic Reward Chart is also providing a sense of understanding the value of money.
Overall, we love this Reward chart. It has only had a positive impact in our home.
Autumn has even started asking how she can help around the house, so she can gain her stars.

Our second choice, was the Reversible Craft Kit.
This is a very well made, creative kit.
There are two sides to this creative craft kit.
One side is a magnetic whiteboard, accompanied with magnetic pieces and a booklet with many creative ideas.
This allows your little ones creativity to be explored, using the magnetic pieces alongside their freestyle drawing.
We also have been using the whiteboard to aid in phonics and sentence writing.
This mimics props used in Autumn’s school.
On the reverse side, is a chalkboard with multicoloured chalk.
Now this reminds me of my childhood.
All in all a great Reversible Craft Kit, for little ones of all ages.
Encouraging creativity, imagination and even education.
This kit comes in a perfect sized compact wooden box, ideal for taking to relatives homes and easy storage.
(Every parent’s dream).
Overall, we cannot recommend Jaques Of London enough.
The products we have received are versatile, good quality, long lasting and superb for little ones.
They encourage education, creativity and most of all family bonding.
